Official Poster & Trailer for Alter Ego

I am totally torn on this one, while the premise sounds like a great idea I just feel like they’re lacking somewhere. The trailer for Issei Shibata’s Alter Ego isn’t exactly the most exciting thing I’ve seen, but who knows, perhaps the actual film will be much better. Below you will find the official English-subbed trailer along with the official poster, check it out.

While the poster suggests that the film is from Takashi Shimizu (The Grudge, Ju-On), the actual fact is he is only serving as a producer and Issei Shibata’s is on helming duties.

The film stars Nobuko Sakuma and Sena.

Synopsis: “Set in an urban Japanese city, three young models are on their first fashion shoot at an abandoned and deserted school. Without warning strange events begin occurring that causes the models and photo crew to question their sanity as one by one they begin dying an agonizing and painful death. Deaths seemingly caused by none other than themselves.”
