If you wanted a monster flick, you’ve got it. From our friends over in the Ukraine, we have a creature feature that may just be what the doctor ordered. While the trailer is a little slow going, the reveal is definitely worth the wait.
Thanks to the guys over at Undead Backbrain for scouring this one out, below we have the first official English-subbed trailer and poster for Aleksandr and Vyacheslav Aloshechkiny’s Synevir 3D.
Synopsis: “The biggest lake in the Carpathian Mountains — Lake Synevir — is known for its rich history throughout hundreds of years as a place of mystical unexplained events. A group of students decide to spend a weekend at the lake. They do not believe in those stories about Lake Synevir and the strange creatures around it. Too bad for them….”

This looks pretty cool … the dubbing isn’t cool at all. I’ll get the Euro version when it drops. (thank god for region free players) … I don’t understand why people in the US have such a hard time with subtitles, it completely destroys a movie using 2 bit ‘C’ grade actors doing the voices … you lose so much of the intensity of the real actors performances, especially since they are light years ahead of the people doing the dubbing.
I’ll definitely give this a watch. Foreign movies seem to be a lot more adventurous than the domestic market.I also couldn’t agree more with ‘Sweet ‘n’ Tender, dubbing sucks.
