I play the most violent video games available and do so in bulk (when I play games like Grand Theft Auto I go for the most amount of random kills) and I've seen thousands of horror movies...I've killed zero people, don't own a gun, and won't even kill a spider on the wall. It comes down to parenting. When parents try to point the finger elsewhere, entertainment or the schools, the innocent truly suffer. People are going to get killed no matter where they are in the world. Look at the Middle East. They don't have access to nearly any of the violent media we have and there is WAY more bombings and shootings there than EVER in America combined times two.

It was a GREAT PILOT! But kinda of confusing to watch on Amazon and that's probably why it failed. Netflix would be much easier to navigate through.

I saw the trailer and quite liked it but as a horror fan and a fan of the original film, a spin-off would have worked better. Trying to replace established (and loved) actors rarely works. A different set of survivors in a different corner of America would possibly have been received better by fanboys. The prospect of killing any real chance of a sequel with Woody, Eisenberg, Stone and Breslin was not very appealing and for me that was the main reason for its opposition. In reality, only Woody can now realistically play Tallahassee!

Loved the pilot. Netflix.
