Magnet Releasing have become extremely well known for acquiring quality genre films. The platform has already given us a slew of brilliant films such as I Saw the Devil, so will this latest acquisition fit right in?

According to Indie Wire, Magnet Releasing have acquired the North American rights to Adrian Garcia Bogliano’s Here Comes the Devil. The film recently had its world premiere at this years Fantastic Fest.

“Francisco Barreiro and Lura Caro star as parents whose preteen son and daughter suddenly reappear after having been lost overnight on a cave-riddled mountainside during a family hike. But their happy return becomes something else as the kids’ behavior changes and the legends of the caves come to light.”

Magnet/Magnolia president Eamonn Bowles said, “We’re happy to be in business with Adrian, whose short in ‘ABCs of Death’ merely whetted our appetite for this full-on dish of creeped-out mayhem.” Bowles added, “‘Here Comes the Devil’ is a singular, crazed trip of a movie,”
