Michael Bay & James Wong Summons the Occult for A&EHere is a pairing I never seen coming, but it could be a pairing that might just work. While I’m definitely not the biggest advocate for Michael Bay, I loved what James Wong did with the X-Files, so I’m sure the two can come up with something worth while… or not?

According to Deadline, A&E have given a cast-contingent pilot order to the upcoming supernatural drama Occult. Michael Bay will be on producing duties while James Wong will be writing the pilot.

The project “centers on a FBI agent who returns from administrative leave after going off the deep end while investigating his wife’s disappearance. Eager to be back on the job, he is paired with an agent with her own complicated backstory who specializes in the occult. Together, they will solve cases for the newly formed occult crimes task force.”

What do you guys think? Anything new or just a rehash of old ideas?

Hmm, it sounds like it might have been done before, but it might end up being good.
