Christopher Landon to Direct the Paranormal Activity Latino Spin-Off

Just yesterday we announced that Paranormal Activity 5 has been confirmed for an October 2013 release despite the fourth installment waning, even if it still took in a hefty $30+ million!

Even though American audiences might be getting tired of the whole Paranormal Activity franchise, it appears as if the Latino audience can’t get enough of the found footage, so with that, a Latino spin-off has been ordered and a director has been announced.

According to Deadline, Christopher Landon (Disturbia) has been tapped to direct the Latino spin-off, and I’m told a tease of the upcoming spin-off was shown at the end of Paranormal Activity 4.

A Paramount insider told the site, “This will be an off-shoot aimed at the groups who have been the biggest supporters of the property – Latinos and folks in Latin America – Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina.”

So, who’s up for some more Paranormal Activity then?

Get Christopher Landon away from the Paranormal Activity franchise this idiot has ruined it.this whole Witch garbage is the dumbest thing I’ve ever witnessed. I’d knock you out if I ever met you. You are NOT a good writer and destroyed a great concept. And Oren Peli your an idiot to for letting this guy butcher it. I have no respect for you as a filmmaker anymore. Witches. Really? Gee how scary is that LMAO! And that cheesy demon effect that a child could pull off. Pathetic. Waste of money. Since Landon is on board for part 5 I won’t be seeing. EVER.
