I am still yet to see the horror anthology V/H/S due to some really bad reviews, but for each negative review there was a positive, so I’m a little dubious in checking it out. But, I know a few people really enjoyed it, so how about a sequel? Yep, head on down below for the early details.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gareth Evans (The Raid), Eduardo Sanchez (The Blair Witch Project, Lovely Molly), Jason Eisener (Hobo With a Shotgun), Timo Tjahjanto (Macabre) and Gregg Hale are among the new directors to tackle various segments in the sequel to V/H/S.
V/H/S 2 is scheduled to begin shooting in L.A., Maryland, Nova Scotia, British Columbia and Indonesia.
“The first movie followed a group of students hired to break into a desolate house to find a lost VHS tape, paving the way for the movie to go into a series of found-footage stories directed by up-and-coming genre filmmakers. The new movie follows a similar structure, with a pair of investigators discovering a tape while looking for a student.”
So what do you guys say? Interested in a sequel? While haven’t seen the first, I will totally be on-board to simply see what Gareth Evans and Jason Eisener can bring to the fold.
