New Line Cinema’s The Conjuring Gets Pushed Back

Chris Savage

I totally forgot that James Wan’s The Conjuring was on the way this January 25th, but it now appears as if a little bit of reshuffling has taken place, as the supernatural flick is now getting a Summer release, this July 19, 2013.

Its interesting that the flick has been pushed for a Summer release, considering genre films seem to do less well during the Summer months, but I guess we shall just have to wait and see.

The film which follows the events of the Perrons family stars Patrick Wilson, Joey King, Mackenzie Joy, Shanley Caswell, Harley McFarland, Vera Farmiga and Ron Livingston.

“The Perrons claimed they “lived among the dead” in the 1970s as spirits — both friendly and sinister — inhabited their Rhode Island farmhouse. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson are playing the investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. Lilli Taylor and Ron Livingston will portray the Perrons.”
