After making the successful Snow White and The Huntsman (A film I haven’t seen nor want to) for Universal, it appears as if Universal see’s some substance in the director and could be the man for the new Van Helsing.
According to Twitch, Rupert Sanders and Universal have been in very early talks with both sides expressing a mutual interest, but this is still early so nothing has been confirmed, but it does appear likely.
Universal’s upcoming Van Helsing has Tom Cruise attached to star as the titular vampire hunter as well as producing the feature. Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman penned the script.
So what do you think, does Sanders have the chops to pull off a decent Van Helsing flick?

I really hope he doesn’t direct it, Snow White and the Huntsman was the worst film I saw this year!
