Chris Savage 1 Comment Movie Page: The Apparition (2012)

Unfortunately Todd Lincoln’s The Apparition, didn’t fare to well when it had its theatrical run back in August, but perhaps it may just find a calling when it hits home video.

According to Blu-ray.com, The Apparition has been announced for Blu-ray and DVD with a release date set for November 27th. At this time no artwork or special features have been released, so keep those eyes peeled for more, if any.

The Apparition stars Ashley Greene, Sebastian Stan and Tom Felton.

Synopsis“When frightening events start to occur in their home, young couple Kelly (Ashley Greene) and Ben (Sebastian Stan) discover they are being haunted by a presence that was accidentally conjured during a university parapsychology experiment. The horrifying apparition feeds on their fear and torments them no matter where they try to run. Their last hope is an expert in the supernatural (Tom Felton), but even with his help they may already be too late to save themselves from this terrifying force…”

I just saw that The Apparition was already available to rent. From all of the reviews I have read, this sounds like a bad movie; that’s exactly what I have been looking for. I have a weekly Bad Movie Night with a few of my coworkers from DISH. We each bring in a selection from the thousands of titles available through DISH Blockbuster @Home, and after watching them all; we give awards for the worst and best movies of the week. I have heard nothing but bad things about this movie, which makes it a strong contender for worst of the week, and maybe worst of the year.
