The Walking Dead Shatters Ratings Records… Again!

It should come as no surprise that the hit zombie show The Walking Dead on AMC has once again shattered records. The premiere broke its own series record and also took out popular dramas such as “The Good Wife” and “Revenge” according to the Huffington Post.

The premiere drew inĀ 10.9 million viewers at 9 p.m. and 15.2 million when factoring in the encore, the premiere was also up 50 percent compared to the series 2 premiere.

Charlie Collier, president of AMC said;

“Thank you to the fans for making ‘The Walking Dead’ such a tremendous success. We are honored and humbled that television’s largest adult audience resides on AMC. So many people on both sides of the camera worked tirelessly on this project, and I thank and congratulate each of them for their amazing contribution,”

This is becoming quite the yearly celebration. I haven’t seen the series premiere yet, but I’ve been told it is off the hook! So I’ll be checking it out in due course, but what do you guys think?

        I don’t know what all the hype is. It is just another slow walking zombie movie. Don’t get me wrong. I watch it and like it but it would be so much more intense if the Zombies ran at you.
