The Woman in Black: Angel of Death Scores a Director

Chris Savage

I am still yet to see The Woman in Black, not because I’ve heard bad things, but because of lack of funds. Either way, I will see it one day, but for those of you who have and are looking forward to the next installment will be pleased to know that a director has been found!

According to Screen Daily, Tom Harper (The Scouting Book for Boys) has been attached to direct The Woman in Black: Angel of Death for Hammer Films.

The site reports that the next installment will “continue the story four decades later”.

Seized by the government and converted into a military mental hospital during World War II, the sudden arrival of disturbed soldiers to Eel Marsh Harsh has awoken its darkest inhabitant. Eve, a beautiful young nurse, is sent to the house to care for the patients but soon realizes she must save them from more than their own demons. Despite Eve’s efforts to stop her, one by one they fall victim to the Woman in Black.

So what do you think about Harper? Think he has the chops to pull this one off?
