My favorite zombie movie of all time is Shaun of the dead of course. They have tried to make movies similiar to it, but they can never come close. You know the saying, often imitated, never duplicated! Rec series, Dead Snow, Zombieland, La Horde, Dawn of the dead (original and remake), 28 days/weeks, and grindhouse very good films. I wish we could see a left for dead movie. Also, if we really want to get technical, Crow, Frida the 13th, and Halloween can qualify as zombie movies since they are all dead and brought back to life.

I thought it was a good list besides the Creeper. That cat is scary! The Gingerdead man is freaking hilarious! You should of took off the creeper and added that turkey from Thankskilling.

I'm pretty sure Jack does have sex with her in the shower using his carrot nose as a penis. Afterward he puts it back on his face.

Actually the word Zombie comes from African culture and mythology, much like the movie "I walked with a Zombie". It as a person controlled by another by using a spell, or some magic ritual. All other concepts are derivative from that. But when we say zombies, mostly, people mean Romero's view. So if you expand the concept to it's original roots, even Evil Dead, or Pet Sematary can be considered a zombie a movie. But I would still say, the concept of what we call a Zombie movie was established by Mr. Romero.
