Jaime Murray is Cast in Fright Night 2 Official Plot Details InsideRemember that direct-to-disc Fright Night sequel we informed you guys about recently? Well, is appears as if the ball is well and truly rolling as we have got word of the first cast member and the official synopsis courtesy of B-D.

According to the site, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment have green-lit production on Eduardo Rodriguez’s Fright Night 2 with Jaime Murray (Devil’s Playground, Botched) cast to play a Romanian vampire.

So, where do you think they will take sequel? Well, judging from the synopsis (view below) it seems as if this will be following the same plot details as the original, including the same characters, the only difference that I can see is that it is set in Romania. I mean, really!?

Synopsis: “When high school student Charlie attends a study abroad program with his horror obsessed friend “Evil” Ed and ex-girlfriend AMY in Romania, he soon discovers their young attractive professor Gerri (Jaime Murray) is a real life vampire. Too bad no one believes him. In fact, Evil Ed finds it amusing and it only feeds his vampire obsession. When Gerri turns Ed, Charlie seeks out Peter Vincent, the infamous vampire hunter (well, he plays one on TV) who is in Romania filming his show “Fright Night,” to teach him how to take down Gerri before she gets to Amy, who’s blood will cure Gerri of spending eternity as a vampire.

this comes no shocking surprise to us at all here we are
again another mediocre excuse to deviate from the pathos
of the origines of the dandridge family this version of fright night 2
will not be like tommy lee wallace’s 1988 version of fright night 2
at least it carried on the story where part 1 left off and this one
will be an diffrent new movie stephen geoffreys the original evil
ed was approched after the original wrapped up in 85 about returning
for fright night 2 so he passed but we’ll see what this one is to offer.
