Lucky McKee and Chris Sivertson to Remake All Cheerleaders Die

Chris Savage

Way back in 2001 I believe, Lucky McKee and Chris Sivertson unleashed a video project entitled All Cheerleaders Die, after graduating from USC Film School. Now, just over a decade later, McKee and Sivertson are returning to their video project and are set for a re-imagining.

According to Variety, Caitlin Stasey (“Tomorrow When the War Began”), Sianoa Smit-McPhee (“Hung”) and Tom Williamson have been cast in All Cheerleaders Die for Moderncine.

The film follows “a 17-year-old rebel on a mission to take down the captain of the high school football team who rallies a group of cheerleaders around her cause, but after a tragic turn of events the girls are thrust into a supernatural battle.”

Filming is said to take place this November 26th in Los Angeles.

I for one absolutely loved McKee’s The Woman, so I have high hopes for this one. What do you guys think?
