REC 3 is amazing.
Not to spoil it, but there is a big surprise. And lots of tributes to the genre.
Putting all that aside it works great as just a fun movie.
Rec3 was absolute garbage. Probably would have been mediocre as a standalone horror-comedy. Very disappointing entry to the franchise.
