Silver Pictures Undergoes a ‘Home Invasion’

I have to admit, its been strangely quiet on the whole found footage front. We haven’t heard much on a new found footage flick for at least a couple of weeks, I was starting to worry. But, today that all changes my found footage fans, Variety reports that a new found footage flick is on the horizon and we have the very early details.

According to the site, Silver pictures has tapped Joseph Dembner to pen the script for their upcoming found footage film Home Invasion.

Joel Silver, Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman are on producing duties with filming set to commence some time next year. No director has been attached just yet.

Home Invasion is said to be “about a dysfunctional family that falls victim to sinister home intruders.” The film is inspired by The Strangers.
