Actor/writer/director Cuyle Carvin just released his short film Amused for the masses to consume. It is a pretty good treat for the holidays. He produced the short through his By the C Productions company along with Alex Tucker and Angela Relucio. The film stars Elise Rovinsky and Ryan Metzger. Cinematography is by Colin Rivera, who co-edited Amused with Carvin; the score is by Zach Letts.

After a routine morning filled with errands, Martha returns to her quiet and tranquil country home to find horror feasting upon her daughter’s scalp. A terrifying chase ensues through the frozen countryside. Alone and desperate, Martha’s left to face the vast isolation as terror lurks and awaits for its chance to pounce.
Amused explores a silent fear of rural living. The peace and quiet that the country life offers might not be worth much when no one can hear you scream.
