I think the first movie was very bad. The plot is an excuse to explore torture. The second I couldn't watch, I just stopped in the middle. There is nothing wrong with violence, when it serves the plot. Like Seven, Quentin Tarantino movies, Rob Zombie movies, and I could go on forever... I do like sick movies, when they are intelligent. Like Excision, or Dead Girl. But, I don't understand why anyone would watch another human cetipede movie.

Blair witch brought found footage to the main stream, but " the last broadcast" was the first tot truly do it. I feel Halloween should be much higher on the list as well

Picnic at Hanging Rock will forever be one of my favourite Aussie films, it's just so superbly shot and acted. Snowtown is a VERY slow movie, but I think that is what sets it apart from other films of the same vein. They could have made a quick, gory edge of your seat serial killer film, but instead chose to take the road less travelled, and made it slow and somewhat boring - which for me just adds to the terror and makes it more real. I have no doubt the writers and directors made a concious decision to make the movie this way. Thanks for your comment!

My GOD! I love the Talisman! I've always wanted them to do a film version of "Cell", though that's in the works so I'm already getting excited for that.

I definitely love your enthusiasm towards getting the youth involved in older horror films while I am young myself I have always enjoyed the classics from the shining to Friday the 13th and I wish Netflix would put more classics on demand
