Bizarrely enough, this has absolutely nothing to do with a reboot in the sense of remaking something, in stead its an upcoming adaptation of the young adult novel Reboot, and Fox 2000 has it in their scope.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lindsay Devlin has been pegged to adapt the novel for Fox 2000, which marks her first studio gig.

The novel is penned by Amy Tintera, which is set “after the world becomes infected with a deadly virus and killer slave soldiers are created from dead teenagers. Two re-animated teens decide to band together to fight the organization responsible.”

The novel hasn’t even been released yet, instead it is due for a release in May, so if this one tickles your fancy, keep your eye out for the novel being its adapted for the big-screen.
