The Walking Dead Mid-Season Finale Draws Huge Numbers!

Chris Savage

All hail The Walking Dead! I’ve never actually been one for TV shows or anything along those lines, but thanks to The Walking Dead and of course my other favorite at the moment, American Horror Story, I can’t seem to get my ass off the sofa! Sadly, this past Sunday was the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead, which means we have to wait until next year for more zombie mayhem, still, the season went out with a bang and according to these figures, nearly everyone tuned in. Awesome stuff.

According to Deadline, the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead drew in massive 10.5 million total viewers for the premiere 9 PM telecast and 15.2 million for the night, including two encores.

Compared to the season 2 mid-season finale, season 3’s audience was up a humongous 58%. This show just seems to go from strength to strength, and hopefully they continue like they have been.

So from me and everyone here at HM, thanks for tuning into The Walking Dead and making it the  number 1 show on TV, long live the zombie!
