Things have just gone from, “yeah, okay, a Zombieland TV series is on the way.” To, “Holy f**k! Eli Craig may direct the series!” Yep, things have gotten pretty hot in the Zombieland TV camp. Read on for all the details regarding the project below.
According to Deadline, original Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are onboard for the series as writers/executive producers, and Eli Craig (Tucker & Dale vs. Evil) is currently in negotiations to direct the series.
Now being Craig is a self-confessed Zombieland nut, I see no reason why he wouldn’t want a part of this, and considering his track record with Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, and then partnering him up with the original Zombieland writers, this just sounds too good to be true. So with that, don’t hold your breath as nothing is confirmed just yet.
The TV series is said to be picked up by Amazon and Sony Pictures TV, will feature half-hour episodes.

Eli who? It’s gonna bomb.
…of Tucker & Dale fame, a mediocre film. he gets to direct a TV show based off another mediocre film. Hmm…
not a fan of the movie, so, I won’t be a fan of the show. i dunno about you guys, but, after faithfully watching The Walking Dead tv show, I’m sort of Zombied-out. I’ll stick to my slasher movies, thank u.
What is a “seires”?
Mike Price I am not scientist but I am pretty sure its an unintended spelling mistake
Not sure this will work – if it has more zombies this time i’ll give it a look- weren’t enough in the film.
