Despite average box-office numbers for Scream 4, there has been talk of a fifth movie, and while I thought the franchise pretty much lost it when it got to part 3, I have to say that I was some what impressed with the fourth installment. Sure it wasn’t anything new, but I think its more of that nostalgic feel, seeing returning characters and what not. So, what’s going on with Scream 5?
Well, not much by the sounds of things. We still don’t even know if there will be a part five, and even if there is we still have no word if Wes Craven will return to direct. So how about the film’s star, Neve Campbell? In a recent interview with Collider, Neve shared her thoughts on returning to the franchise;
“We’ll see. I’m not sure they’re going to make it, to be honest. If that were to come up again and they were to approach me, I’d have a chat with them about it.”
As usual, its not much to go on, and still no confirmation on a fifth installment, but I ask you, do you want a fifth film, and if so, where would you like it to take us?

I wouldn’t mind one, though I would fully expect that maybe, just maybe, one of the original cast members would actually be killed. I enjoyed the fourth film, but felt cheated that they all made it out alive, AGAIN! Anyway, if they make another film, I’m sure she’ll do it… it’s not like she has much else going on!
I think that adding a fifth installment is a great idea I want to see the original cast come together again even if its for the last time. I just want to know how there going to finish up the scream movies. Even though I would like to see a scream 6. I also have some ideas for scream 5. What if its about how Sydney had Billy’s baby and no one knew about it until now because the baby was given to someone in her family or was put up for adoption. when ghost face starts targeting her child Sydney is mortified and must face off with ghost face for the last time . To keep herself and her child alive.
