You all knew it was coming. This show just seems to get better with each passing episode, and this past Sunday’s was no exception. Much like previous years, after the mid-season break, The Walking Dead has dominated the TV ratings once again.

According to Variety, this past Sunday’s return of The Walking Dead drew in an average of 12.3 million viewers! This of course tops lasts years 10.9 million.

Sunday’s premiere also drew a combined 4.3 million viewers for its repeats at 11 p.m., midnight and 2 a.m., bringing its total viewership for the night to 16.6 million.

This season was granted 16 episodes, with the first eight airing in the fall and the current eight are airing now until March 31st.

So once again, folks, thanks for tuning into AMC’s The Walking Dead, and cementing its place as the #1 show on cable TV. So, who’s up for this weeks episode?
