Hey you know that Godzilla movie that’s been in the works for a year or so? Well it’s starting production right now in Vancouver. Half a year ago I thought this movie would never get off the ground, so to know that cameras are actually about to start rolling is exciting to say the least.
Not only do we know that the film is in production, but we’ve also been given a new bit of casting info. Joining an already impressive cast of actors that includes Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston is legendary star Ken Watanabe.
Gareth Edwards is directing the film from a screenplay by Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont and Dave Callaham. The film is set to hit theaters on May 16th, 2014 in 3D.
