Josh Lucas and Lynn Collins Join A&E’s Occult

A&ESome quick casting news has just made the rounds regarding James Wong’s upcoming series Occult for A&E, and we have all the details for you guys to check out below.

According to the folks over at The Hollywood Reporter, Josh Lucas (The Firm) and Lynn Collins (John Carter) have just been cast in A&E’s Occult.

The upcoming series is written by James Wong (American Horror Story, Final Destination) who will also produce alongside Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller.

“Occult revolves around an FBI agent who has returned from administrative leave after going off the deep end while investigating his wife’s disappearance. Eager to be back on the job, he is paired with an agent with her own complicated backstory who specializes in the occult. Together, they will solve cases for the newly formed occult crimes task force.”

Josh Lucas (NBC’s The Firm) will star as Dolan, the intense, hotshot FBI agent returning to the force six months after the devastating disappearance of his wife. He’s a stand-up guy who is quick to defend fellow agent Blair, when she insists that the occult is involved in a recent slaying. Following a supernatural encounter, he’s teamed with Blair to head a new Occult Crime Task Force.

While, Lynn Collins (True Blood, X-Men Origins: Wolverine) will play the stubborn prodigy Blair, who follows her hunches and has been obsessed with the occult since reading The Tell-Tale Heart at age 7.
