Keeping with the all the excitement surrounding the recent JP4 announcement, we now have another bit of info that speculates that Jurassic Park could start filming as soon as April in Baton Rouge.
So keep in mind, this is all speculation, but it also involves a lot of plausible information. A recent report in the The Times Picayune reveals that Universal Studios is bringing a big unnamed production to Baton Rouge's Raleigh Studios and that Universal will occupy the studio space from April till November. Given that Jurassic Park 4 is scheduled to hit theaters in June 2014, the timeline seems to match up for what they need to do.
Furthermore, Universal Studios has already established a relationship with the Raleigh Studio as they filmed last year's Battleship and this year's Oblivion there.
Finally Universal Studios went through the trouble of changing the name of Cirque Investments LLC with the state of Louisiana, which is the name that they filmed their Cirque du Freak movie under, to Ebb Tide Films. So it's pretty clear that Universal is gearing up for something big in that state.
Here's hoping we wont have to wait long for casting news.
