New Trailer for World War Z

Chris Savage

I for one haven’t read the original novel from which World War Z is based on, so I can’t compare as to how this plays out compared to the source material. But I am some what intrigued, the only down side for me is that the film utilizes CGI zombies, that’s just a no-no for me, but it is what it is. So, for you folks, we have scored a brand new trailer which is home to all sorts of new footage, check it out.

The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself.

Look for the film in theatres this June 21st.

From what I can see it is nothing like the book. The book is a series of stories about the zombie apocalypse told to a man after it is over. The movie seems to be about a man running from te zombies while trying to stop it from getting worse. Expected much better from the Brooks family.

Wow, i have to agree this is nothing like the book, and what did they model the cgi zombies from? Flash comics, the speed they were running in the clip there is nothing scary, i had such high hope for this film, and it’s gonna be the Howard the duck of the zombie films =(

Wouldn’t it have been nice if maybe he would have read the book or perhaps skimmed through it before making a comment. This movie is using the name of a great book but after seeing the trailer and other stories about it this movie will not follow the book at all. The main character was getting stories from people who lived through the war, people who were there when it started and those people who are around after the war. He was not trying to find a cure or racing to stop anything. Having said al that, I will see this movie because, well, it is a summer movie and I am a big fan of zombies.

Seems more like some sort of viral rage infestation a´la 28 days later then a zombie movie.

But as an action movie it seem to deliver
