South Korea’s Horror Stories Gets a Sequel

Horror Stories PosterUpon the release of Horror Stories last July 2012, the film has both garnered an immense number of positive reviews and an impressive box office result in spite of the numerous other local and international films shown that time. As such, it has already been reported that a sequel of more scares and terrifying stories has started filming last Wednesday, March 6.

Details about the film have already been announced, namely the cast, directors and the segment stories that will much likely give nightmares to even the most manliest man on earth. The three segments of the film are “Escape”, “Accident” and “Cliff”.

“Escape” will be about a trainee teacher who gets trapped in a different dimension, “Accident” will tell of 3 friends caught in a car accident that will eventually lead to horrendous situations and “Cliff” will be about two friends on a mountain hike whilst facing life threatening situations.

Directors Min Kyu-dong and Jung Bum-sik will be the only directors from the first film to be coming back for the sequel, with Min Kyu-dong directing the main segment of the film.

Horror Stories 2 will premiere June 2013.
