The Human Race Debuts a New Trailer

Jason McDonald

The team behind The Human Race have just debuted a new trailer that really highlights the gore and intensity of their indie project.  The film is directed and written by Paul Hough and stars Paul McCarthy-Boyington, Eddie McGee, Trista Robinson, Richard Gale, Domiziano Arcangeli.

In THE HUMAN RACE a group of 80 people are ripped out of their daily lives and all re-appear in an undisclosed location. These people are from all walks of life: young and old, athletic and disabled, white-collared and homeless. The rules to a race boom in their heads, in their own voice and language, laying out what will become a horrific race of terror: “If you are lapped twice, you die. If you step off the path, you die. If you touch the grass, you will die. Race…or die.”

Our own Simon Rother saw the movie last year and wrote up this flattering review for the film.  The suggestion that it’s the Amazing Race crossed with Battle Royale seems to be pretty apt after viewing the trailer below.  The film is still playing in the festival market for now, so keep your eye on their Facebook page if you want to catch it when it comes near you.
