Two New TV Spots for Jurassic Park 3D

Jason McDonald 2 Comments

Universal Studios has released two brand new TV spots for it’s upcoming release of Jurassic Park 3D.  Journey down below to check them out and marvel at how well the special effects hold up after all these years.

I’m the kind of guy that looks at 3D as nothing more than an expensive gimmick.  Rarely does a movie actually incorporate the use of 3D in a way that adds substance to the film.  However, Jurassic Park 3D? I am mad hyped for some of that 3D action.

Maybe I’m just giving in to the bliss of nostalgia, but I don’t care.  Jurassic Park is the kind of movie that ignites the child-like spark of joy in a person.  For me, it is the absolute definition of “movie magic.”  As a kid the wonder and spectacle of Jurassic Park helped me to realize that the power of human imagination is boundless.  Alright, I better stop gushing about JP before I wet myself.

Coming to theaters on April 5th, Jurassic Park 3D tells the tale of what happens when a bunch of humans get trapped on an island with rampaging dinosaurs.  Spoiler alert: dinos and humans don’t mix well.   The film is directed by Steven Spielberg and stars Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Samuel L. Jackson, and Richard Attenborough.

What say you Reader? Do you approve of this 3D re-release?

I probably won’t see this unless it gets amazing reviews about the 3D. However I’m glad it’s in theaters for younger generations who *shudders* may have never seen the movie. I wonder if the success of this movie will have any affect on if they make another Jurassic Park.

I am not into 3D.. Its no biggie deal to me, really. I want to see the next sequel. No 3D at all.
