Official Trailer for Manborg Is Here

595E11E459661179BF6B0B4485B8DToday Dark Sky Films released the brand new trailer for Director Steven Kostanski’s Manborg. The film looks like a throwback to the over the top 80s sci fi films. They are officially calling it a lo-fi post-apocalyptic science fiction/action/comedy. The trailer seems to evoke that feeling with the stop motion animation and some other ques. But I feel something is off.. Too much green screen? Not sure but check it out below for yourself.

Synopsis: The armies of hell have taken over the Earth, and all that stands in the way of the villainous Count Draculon (Adam Brooks) and humanity’s total extinction is a motley crew of misfits led by the mighty Manborg (Matthew Kennedy): a warrior who’s half-man, half-machine – and all hero!

Manborg hits DVD on April 30th.

Yeah, too much green screen. Feels like I’m watching Spartacus (hated for same reason). Coincidence that this is coming out just before Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon (game set in post apocalypse 2007, made to feels like an 80s movie)
