The Conjuring Debuts a Proper Trailer

Jason McDonald

While I really love the teaser trailer they put out a while ago, I was itching to see a proper trailer to get a better grasp on what The Conjuring would be like.

One thing I learned from this new trailer?  I can’t separate Norma Bates and Vera Farmiga.  I just keep seeing Vera and thinking “Oh, it’s Norma Bates investigating a haunted house.” Which would make for an even stranger film.  Journey below to watch the trailer for yourself.

Before there was Amityville, there was Harrisville. Based on a true story, “The Conjuring” tells the horrifying tale of how world-renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.

The film opens July 19th and stars Patrick Wilson, Vera Farmiga, Ron Livingston, Lili Taylor, Mackenzie Foy, Joey King, Hayley McFarland and is directed by James Wan.
