Cabin Fever: Patient Zero Marks a New Trilogy in the FranchiseI bet you guys were just thinking, “Hmm. You know what? We need more Cabin Fever!” And well, you ask and I shall deliver. Okay, maybe you didn’t ask that, but its too late as plans are already in motion for a new trilogy in the Cabin Fever franchise.

With the latest flick Cabin Fever: Patient Zero on the horizon, Screen Daily is reporting that Evan Astrowsky the producer from the original Cabin Fever film is currently developing two sequels with Voltage and Dominican Republic-based Indomina.

The site reports that Cabin Fever: Patient Zero is the first in an anticipated reboot of the horror franchise along with Cabin Fever: Outbreak. So yeah, if you wanted more Cabin Fever, you’ve got it, if not, well, it may actually turn out okay. just seems a little perplexing, but heck, what do I know?

Now I don’t know about you guys but I actually enjoyed Cabin Fever 2, but the idea of a reboot just seems a little perplexing, but heck, what do I know?

Cabin Fever: Patient Zero stars Lydia Hearst, Sean Astin, Brano Eaton, Gillian Murray, Ryan Donowho and Mitch Ryan.

The story kicks off when a bachelor party cruise in the Caribbean unexpectedly runs ashore on a medical-research island and a deadly virus is unleashed. The passengers must struggle to find a way to survive before their own demons and the flesh-eating bacteria consumes them all.

        I love that series. Part 2 is awesome. But a reboot?? I can’t see how that would make sense… I mean, there is a lot to explore yet, before thinking about that, I guess…
