Grace Director is Looking at a Dark Summer

Jason McDonald No Comments Movie Page: Dark Summer (2014)

Paul Solet, who made an impressive directorial debut with Grace, finally has another project lined up.  According to Variety, Paul has signed up to direct Dark Summer for Preferred Film & TV.

The script was written by Mike Le and “centers on a 17-year-old boy who is placed under house arrest for the summer while his mother is away on business.”

Rear Window/Disturbia meets ghost story?  Maybe that’s a stretch, but it sounds like an interest project.  Grace wasn’t the best horror movie I’ve ever seen, but it did show promise and I’ve been waiting to see how Paul’s skills would evolve.  If you haven’t heard of Grace, why not check out the trailer for that film below.
