Nazis are always a great go-to villain.  Need something nefarious to happen? Need a villain you don’t have to explain or give reason for? Nazis are the way to go! Just in movies, of course.

What’s even better is when you combine Nazis with fictitious monsters.  Dead Snow did it right with Nazi zombies and The Devil’s Rock managed to combine demons and nazis in an interesting way.  There have been movies with Nazi vampires and even Nazi Frankenstein’s monsters.  So what’s next? How about a Nazi created Werewolf? That’s where Iron Wolf comes in.

1945: The red army stands at the gates of Berlin. In their desperation the Nazis turn to the most obscure Scientists. Through cruel experiments a new secret Weapon has been created – unstoppable and alive. A Russian attack destroys the lab, but the weapon – buried underneath the ruins – is immortal.

2012: Punk-Rock legend Spike Jones leads a group of friends into the ruins of the old Nazi Lab. The complex shall be cleaned up for the reunion concert of his band. Believing they would help a poor soul, they free the beast from its prison. But the creature of the Nazis does not know about thankfulness. Again the smell of blood fills the old laboratories and screams of terror echo through the darkness. As now, the Werewolf starts his war against humanity.

Iron Wolf comes by way of director David Brückner and is based on a script by Marco Theiss.  The film stars Carolina Rath, Roland Freitag, Urs Remond, and Michael Krug.  Check out the trailer and poster below and let us know what you think!
