Carpenter and Curtis Team Up for New Halloween Commentary

I don’t know about you, but I have quite a few editions of “Halloween” and apparently I haven’t learned my lesson because I’m ready to buy another one.  On one hand I should be ashamed of myself, but on the other hand…35th Anniversary Blu-Ray edition of John Carpenter’s “Halloween“.  Yeah… I have no willpower.

Anchor Bay is working on a 35th Anniversary Edition of “Halloween” that’ll come to blu-ray later this year.  On the Halloween Facebook page it was revealed that John Carpenter and Jamie Lee Curtis had reunited for some special features on the blu-ray.  Carpenter himself later announced that the reunion was to create a new commentary for the upcoming blu-ray release.

Anchor Bay has confirmed the upcoming blu-ray with Arrow in the Head and promises more details to come in the near future.

So what do you think?  Excited for another edition of “Halloween“? What sort of special features would you like to see this time around?

I’m the same way. I buy all the Halloween’s on DVD and Blu Ray no matter how many times it is a double dip. And I’ll be buying this as well. Good to see they are adding special features and hopefully we get a true Blu Ray copy of Halloween this time around.

I love the film too much not to, once again, dip in. I assume a 35th anniversary edition will be chock-full of new goodies, including the new commentary, so it’ll be worth it for me!
