First Official Trailer for Willow Creek

Chris Savage

A couple of months back we gave you guys the awesome poster for Bobcat Goldthwait’s Willow Creek, which you can see below. Jump forward a couple of months, and we have finally scored the official trailer for the film which definitely looks as if it’s right up my alley. If you like found footage and the legacy of a Sasquatch, then, this one is for you.

As previously stated by Bobcat Goldthwait;

Willow Creek will be a found footage film about bigfoot. Perhaps there’s been too many of those recently, but this one isn’t a schlocky horror picture. Goldthwait has apparently mixed satire with some suspense and, overall, his film is apparently rather driven by “exploring the idea of bearing witness.

        Prior to the release of the film in 1968, “zombie” movies focused on “voodoo zombies”, which meant living victims that were turned into slaves by supernatural forces. “White Zombie”, released in 1932, is perhaps the best-known example of that genre.
