Goon 2 Comments

Eureka Entertainment just announced that their next installment in their Masters of Cinema line will be none other than F. W. Murnau’s legendary silent cinema horror classic Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror (1919).

This release includes a UK theatrical run and selected cinemas nationwide on Friday October 25, 2013, just in time for Halloween.

In addition to the theaterical run Eureka will also be releasing it on DVD and Bluray with a bunch of different special features. They haven’t divulged any of those features yet but closer to the release date they will let us know.

This particular print has also been masterfully restored in Germany by Friedrich-Wilhelm-Murnau-Stiftung (FWMS). We’ll let you know more as soon as we hear it.

I hope it will have the original soundtrack. I cannot find the DVD with the original. It was so much creepier than the ones added in recent years.
