HauntersAre you guys ready for yet another remake? Well, like it or not, it appears as if remakes are here to stay and today we have received word that the Korean sci-fi flick Haunters, is set for a Japanese remake. Read on for the early details.

According to Variety, Hideo Nakata (Ringu) will direct a Japanese-language remake of Haunters, which is set to be titled Monster.

Fujiwara Tatsuya and Yamada Takayuki are already attached to star, and the film is said to begin production later this month. Watanabe Yusuke penned the Japanese remake

The story pitches together a psychic with supernatural powers, and the ability to control other people’s minds, against the one man who is able to resist him.

Usually I’m spitting venom by now whenever I right up an article regarding a remake, but, I just freakin’ love Hideo Nakata, and this isn’t an Americanized remake, so my hopes are actually really high for this one.
