You know what? Sure. Why the hell not? Once you’ve done sharks caught in a tornado, the next logical step has to be a spectral shark that can get you anywhere at any time. When SyFy teamed up with The Asylum for “Sharknado” people didn’t believe that they could possibly top the levels of absurdity they had reached in that movie. Well, SyFy must have a crack of team of scientists constantly researching new areas of the absurd as they’ve just announced that “Ghost Shark” will be coming to SyFy on August 22nd.
When a young girl’s father mysteriously vanishes in the Gulf of Mexico, she becomes obsessed with finding the truth behind his disappearance, only to discover that the culprit is not only inhuman, but the ghost of a vengeful Great White Shark. Now she must convince the local authorities to trust her wild claims and identify the origins of the spectral predator if she wants to save her friends and family from the unstoppable killing machine.
“Ghost Shark” stars Mackenzie Rosman, Richard Moll, Tim Taylor, and Lucky Johnson. The film is directed by Griff Furst and written by Paul A. Birkett and Griff Furst. Check your listings to catch “Ghost Shark” when it hits SyFy on August 22nd.
