There’s a Fire Under the Dome in this Latest Preview

Jason McDonald

Did you tune in last week for the premiere of “Under the Dome”?  How’d you like it?  I hear book fans are quite upset about the differences between the novel and the series, but I haven’t had a chance to read it yet so I don’t have that sort of perspective.  However, I did enjoy the first episode and all the little mysteries have already pulled me in.

If you’re anxiously awaiting tonight’s episode, here’s a little preview to hold you over.  In this clip from the second episode of “Under the Dome” the residents of Chester Mill are still coping with being trapped in their town when a small fire breaks out.  With the local fire fighters trapped on the other side of the dome, it’s up to the community to band together to put it out.

This episode is directed by Jack Bender who is best known for his work on shows like “Lost” and, of course, “Child’s Play 3.”  Check out the clip below and let us know what you think!

They make a big deal about nothing being able to get in/out, but nobody seems to notice that there should also be NO WIND under the dome. How can there be wind? Yet you clearly see things blowing/moving in the wind. Filming/design oversight.

this episode was amazing. The first one was just an introduction, but this one, brings it.
Good question about the wind, but we saw that some kinds of matter can get through the dome, like water. The question about air is still to be answered, but I’m positive it will be.
