Capcom Essentials Pack Includes Resident Evil 6 and More

If, for some reason, you’ve been holding off on buying Resident Evil 6, Dead Rising 2, Super Street Fighter IV, Devil May Cry 4, and Mega Man 10 on the off chance that they might be one day included in one big bundle then you’re some sort of super genius.  Or you work for Capcom.  Either way, your long wait has finally paid off as all those games are coming together for the “Capcom Essentials Pack.”

This rather large pack comes with all the games listed above along with a nice little tote bag to place them in for just $59.99.  However, you should know that Dead Rising 2 is just the regular version of the game and doesn’t include any of the DLC.  Also, Street Fighter IV isn’t the arcade edition and there’s a new version of that game coming out next year.  And, on a side note, you may want to check the reviews for Resident Evil 6 and Devil May Cry 4 before you jump on the deal.  There was a mixed reaction to those games, to say the least.

All in all, this is a strange bundle.  Given that some of these are outdated editions and some are games that didn’t sell too well, it would seem as if Capcom is clearing out inventory to make way for the new generation of game consoles due out at the end of this year.  Still, if you’re curious about these 5 particular games, then the deal might look appealing to you.

Capcom Essentials will be out on October 8th for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

Might be good to mention that Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising: Case Zero are both free on Xbox Live until the end of the month. You get to keep them forever.
