Although I’ve only read the first volume to John Layman and Rob Guillory‘s ingenious graphic novel, Chew, I found the story to be incredibly unique and the characters contemporary yet whimsical.
Motion comic creator Jeff Krelitz (The Crazies, Spartacus: Blood & Sand), has expressed his desire to turn Chew into a motion comic and eventually a live-action television series.
Although it was developed as a pilot for Showtime, the project eventually fell through the cracks and joined many others in development limbo. Thanks to Jeff Krelitz though, the potential for a live-action series has taken in new life and we’re hoping he finds a suitable network for the insanely enjoyable comic.
