It is that time of year again where the floodgates open and hundreds upon hundreds of hopeful filmmakers submit their film to be a part of one of the greatest anthologies ever. Yep, The ABCs of Death is back and they are once again looking for their 26th director, and you never know, it could be you.
Last year, animation artist Lee Hardcastle won the coveted prize with his awesome short T is for Toilet and got the chance to show the world just how talented he is. Now, they are back and they are looking for their 26th director for The ABCs of Death 2 and this year the letter in question is ‘M’. So, do you have what it takes to be the next big thing? That’s right, cinemaniacs, we want you to start mulling over the multiple machinations of movie mortality… morbid, morose, and just plain maniacal. To the winner, a cash prize, your film featured in ABCs OF DEATH 2, and the worldwide film acclaim it brings!
It’s time to put your might where your mouth is, and show us just what M is for…
As with any competition there are rules. Your short MUST be specifically created for The ABCs of Death 2 which revolves around the letter M. It is up to you which word you choose and what you bring to the screen. Your short must not exceed 3M otherwise it will be deleted. Submissions close on October 31st, Midnight, with voting ending on November 30th, and the winner will be announced on December 15th. To submit, make your way over HERE.
