Official Art and Stills for Fright Night 2

Goon 2 Comments Movie Page: Fright Night 2 (2013)

The final blu ray cover art for Fright Night 2 has finally been released along with a handful of stills to tide you over until the blu-ray/DVD will be available on October 1st. The trailer was released about a week and I was not very impressed. It’s odd to have a straight to DVD sequel so quickly after a theatrical run of the remake.

Anyway enjoy the stills below..

Synopsis: When high school student Charlie attends a study abroad program with his horror obsessed friend “Evil” Ed and ex- girlfriend AMY in Romania, he soon discovers their young attractive professor Gerri (Jaime Murray) is a real life vampire. Too bad no one believes him. In fact, Evil Ed finds it amusing and it only feeds his vampire obsession. When Gerri turns Ed, Charlie seeks out Peter Vincent, the infamous vampire hunter (well, he plays one on TV) who is in Romania filming his show “Fright Night,” to teach him how to take down Gerri before she gets to Amy, who’s blood will cure Gerri of spending eternity as a vampire.

I am somewhat confused. Is Evil dead the same kid who died in the first one? I am talking about the remake of course.

I’m guessing they’re selling the brand name and not making a literal sequel? None of the cast are back so call it an alternate universe version or something.

I honestly expect to enjoy this more than the remake, which had everything going for it but still made unsatisfying viewing. It wasn’t the actor’s fault, but I thought Charley was an unsympathetic character this time around.

        Hopefully they’ve fixed that.
