Official Trailer for Unearthed & Untold: The Path to Pet SemataryOver the past several years we have been treated to some truly awesome horror film documentaries such as ones for A Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Return of the Living Dead, and who could forget Troll 2 with the Best Worst Movie.

And now, thanks to John Campopiano and Justin White, they’re unleashing a fully comprehensive documentary that takes us deep into the heart of yet another classic, Pet Sematary. We have been following this one for some time, but it has been eerily silent up until now.

Below we have scored the first official trailer for their documentary, Unearthed & Untold: The Path to Pet Sematary, and yes, it looks freakin’ awesome! From never before seen photos, all the way down to some first time ever interviews, this is one documentary you do not want to miss!

Synopsis:  Unearthed & Untold: The Path to Pet Sematary is an independent documentary taking an extensive look at the making of Pet Sematary, the origins of the story, the stories of cast and crew, memories of the Maine locals who helped make the film, and the legacy the film has established among horror fans and scholars of Stephen King’s work.

In addition to featuring many cast and crew members never before interviewed about their involvement in the film, this documentary will also take fans on a tour of the filming locations. With never-before-seen photographs and video footage from behind-the-scenes, original props from the film, media coverage of the 1988 production, and new stories about the Hollywood production being on location in Maine, Unearthed & Untold: The Path to Pet Sematary is an all-encompassing documentary by fans for the fans.

1:27 in that clip freaked me out even though its just a photo still from the movie. Looks too real.

I watched this movie like 50 times as a kid and it was my favorite! I am so excited but 12 year old me is doing backflips.
