Official Trailer & Poster for The Monkey’s Paw

Who is ready for another adaptation of W. W. Jacobs’ classic short horror story The Monkey’s Paw? If so, you’re in luck or at least for now until you use all your wishes. As Chiller Films is set to unleash their take on the classic with Macon Blair on writing duties and Brett Simmons (Husk) directing the sucker.

Thanks to the folks over at IndieWire, we have scored the official poster and trailer for the upcoming film which you can catch On Demand and in select theatres this October 8th.

CJ Thomason stars in the film as Jake Tilton, who acquires a mystical monkey’s paw talisman that grants whomever holds it three wishes, and finds his world turned upside down after his first two wishes result in the resurrection of his malevolent coworker, Tony Cobb (Stephen Lang).  Cobb tries to pressure Jake into using the final wish to reunite Cobb with his son, his intimidation escalating into murder. Michelle Pierce, Tauvia Dawn, Corbin Bleu and Charles S. Dutton co-star.
