Dead Rising 3 Delivers a Treat (or Trick) with DLC Announcement

Jason McDonald

If you’re going to trick or treat at Old Man Capcom’s house, this latest announcement will either leave you feeling like you just got a package of dental floss or a full-sized candy bar.

In the spirit of Halloween, Capcom has released a special trailer for “Dead Rising 3” which features the lead character in a variety of absurd costumes. You can check out the short, but sweet, trailer down below.

Along with the trailer comes word about the DLC plans for “Dead Rising 3.”  So far Capcom has announced four DLC packages which include: “Operation Broken Eagle”, “Fallen Angel”, “Chaos Rising”, and “The Last Agent.”  There’s no exact word on what these DLC packages will contain, but they will be made up of costumes, playable characters, missions, and more.

The DLC packs will run you about $10 each, but if you purchase the Season Pass you’ll get all four for $30 plus a bonus pack called the “Nick Ramos Tribute Pack.” This one includes a new car and costume for the lead character.  So if you think you’re going to fully commit to the “Dead Rising 3” experience, it works out to be a decent deal.

“Dead Rising 3” hits XBox One on November 22nd, 2013.
