Chris Savage

Just last week we unleashed the first official poster for Wolf Creek 2, and we also promised you that we would have the official trailer for you this week. In keeping with our word we have provided. The official trailer has been released and you can check that sucker down below.

SynopsisLured by the promise of an Australian holiday, backpackers Rutger, Katarina, and Paul visit the notorious Wolf Creek Crater. Their dream Outback adventure soon becomes a horrific reality when they encounter the site’s most infamous local, the last man any traveler to the region ever wants to meet; Mick Taylor (John Jarratt).

As the backpackers flee, Mick pursues them on an epic white knuckled rampage across hostile wasteland. Only one will remain to be dragged back to his lair to witness the true magnitude of his monstrosity. And if the last man standing is to have any hope of surviving where no one else has survived before, he’ll have to use every ounce of cunning to outwit the man behind the monster and become every bit as ruthless as the monster inside the man.

The film is set for an Australian release this February 20, 2014. Keep those eyes peeled for a domestic release date soon.

Have to disagree with you there, John Jarrat’s performance made that film better than a lot similar movies around the same period like the awfull hostel or upteenth Saw sequels.

The first film is absolutely amazing. No reliance of over the top gore. 2005 brought us fans really terrible horror movies: House of Wax, Hostel ,Saw 2, and Cursed just to name a few. Wolf Creek was the hidden gem of the year. No CGI. A truly terrifying tale where Jarrat gives probably one of the most terrifying performances in years.

With that said, I am interested in the sequel though it looks like a much more big budget action/thriller movie. Im sure Jarrat will deliver again as Mick though.
